The Allstate Soccer Show

The Allstate Soccer Show began in 2020 with one virtual event created during the pandemic to keep fans connected. Building on that success, three regional online shows followed in 2021, earning industry recognition including a nomination for Best Virtual Consumer Event and winning Best Virtual Consumer/Public Show from Canadian Special Events Magazine.

Since then, MKEM has proudly partnered with Allstate Insurance Canada to take the event live in major Canadian cities:

  • Toronto 2022 – The return to in-person, drawing thousands of passionate fans.

  • Calgary 2023 – Expanded reach, engaging the soccer community in Western Canada.

  • Toronto 2024 – Building momentum with record attendance and activations.

  • Montreal 2025 – Bringing the excitement to a new market with a vibrant fan base.

Looking ahead, the Toronto 2026 Allstate Soccer Show will align with the upcoming FIFA World Cup matches in the city, cementing the event as a must-attend celebration of soccer culture in Canada.

The Sports Card & Memorabilia Expo

When COVID-19 shut down live events, mkem led the charge in transitioning the Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo online. In partnership with eBay and Hopin, we produced three highly successful virtual shows that kept collectors, dealers, and fans connected during a critical time.

In November 2021, the Expo returned in person—breaking all previous records for both attendance and exhibitors. Since then, it has expanded beyond Toronto with new editions in Montreal (twice a year), Edmonton, Quebec City, and Strongsville, Ohio.

Today, the Toronto Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo has become one of the largest consumer events in the city and is recognized globally as the second-largest sport card event in the world, behind only The National in Chicago. Toronto continues to set new records every year, while the additional cities show strong growth—cementing the Expo as the premier sports collectibles event in Canada.

Human Rights Watch

Immersive VR Activation

In 2023, MKEM partnered with Human Rights Watch to support their first major conference since the pandemic and deliver their first-ever VR activation.

Inside the conference, we created an immersive experiential space featuring two custom VR rooms where attendees could step directly into powerful, first-person storytelling. The result was a deeply moving experience that transformed awareness into empathy and conversation into action.

For MKEM, this activation showcased the power of blending technology with human connection—designing moments that not only inform but also inspire lasting impact.

HIROC – AGM & Cyber Summits

For the past four years, MKEM has proudly partnered with HIROC (Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada) to deliver their Annual General Meeting and a series of Cyber Summits throughout the year.

Our role spans full event support—from planning and production to on-site execution—ensuring every gathering runs seamlessly and engages participants at the highest level. These events bring together healthcare leaders and stakeholders to collaborate, share knowledge, and strengthen resilience across the industry.
